Kitchen Remodeling

A kitchen remodel touches more trades than any other room in a house. Demolition, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, tile, cabinetry, countertops and paint all have to happen in a specific order, and every handoff between them is a chance for the schedule to slip.

That sequencing is the entire argument for hiring a contractor who self-performs. We hold the general, electrical, plumbing and HVAC licenses, so when the cabinet delivery moves by a week we move the trades behind it ourselves instead of renegotiating with four separate subcontractors.

Scope usually includes removing existing cabinetry and flooring, relocating or adding circuits for appliances and lighting, moving supply and waste lines for a new sink or island, substrate preparation and tile, cabinet installation, and templating and setting stone.

Most full kitchen remodels run six to ten weeks on site once materials are in hand. The long pole is almost always cabinetry lead time, which is why we order it before demolition begins rather than after.
